The real world - realistic - "not hiding anything"

Rough area - bars on all windows, people walk passed, not bothered dead body

AGGRESSIVE - place

-Mills get bumped into, no one finches/apologies/reacts because he is not from here but Somerset is



Somerset Flat

Classy - antiques furniture, neat, anal
Lives alone, no family
Knife - protection, dangerous place, connect to crime, violence

flip knife- nasty
diegetic sounds hear voices,neighbors, siren and traffic.

Somerset can not get away with this world, outside world invades his mind

(same with Mills house where there is a train coming and vibrates his house

That bringing in a new life is reason to worry because the "world" is such a "terrible" place

consideration is abortion --> destroying new life --> death
